If you’re planning a visit to Morocco, then a visit to the High Atlas Mountains is a must. We are proud to offer authentic experiences for travellers which make a lasting and positive impact on Berber communities.

In partnership with Kasbah Tamadot, we create personalised visits to meet with local artisans, taking in the traditional earth-built Berber villages of Tansghart & Tamgounssi. Nestled in the High Atlas mountains,1300 metres above sea level, these peaceful villages are tucked away from the regular tourist routes.

An immersive cultural experience includes participation in local artisanal activities, helping to preserve Berber heritage and create long-term advocates for the region. Your visit supports sustainable tourism by connecting you with the local community in a meaningful way.

Due to the devastating impact of the earthquake in Morocco on our communities, EBF's programmes remain partially closed. We are arranging special visits to our recently re-opened weaving centre in Tamgounssi. Please get in touch if you would like to visit us during your stay.
