A Space To Study

Back to our work

The Eve Branson Foundation is committed to playing a key role in improving access to education.

The Toussna Study Centre is a dedicated facility for pupils in the small town of Asni in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. The centre was developed to provide secondary education students with a quiet place to revise and a space for those who have a long journey to and from school. Following the earthquake in Morocco, the centre was fully restored and has become a learning hub for the community.

The centre houses two large, secure study rooms and quiet learning zone for up to 80 students, with a space each for boys and for girls. There is a technology room and a large reference library. Primary school pupils are currently enrolled in regular computer skills courses. Further development of the centre's programme will help to safeguard important educational gains and future life chances for young people in Asni, helping students to remain in education who would otherwise be at risk of dropping out.

Thanks to a wave of generosity and support, we have been able to restore the study centre which opened its doors to students in March 2025. Please donate today so that we can build a better future for young people in Morocco.
